As some of you may know, my dear friend, Elke Babicki, has founded a new non-profit organization, United Girls of the World.
Their focus is to aid girls locally and internationally with critical issues, including self-esteem related problems, violence, human trafficking and sexual abuse. One of their board members works directly with the United Nations, and is giving the group invaluable access on an international level. Elke and her partner recently produced a flash mob video at Park Royal in North Vancouver with a team of volunteers, including Pro Arte dancers, Pandora's Vox women's choir and a team of talented musical directors, choreographers and sound engineers.
